Sonic Automotive unveils yearlong move to expand into powersports vehicle sales

For more than a year, Sonic Automotive Inc. has been quietly buying motorcycle and powersports vehicle dealerships to establish a new business segment. Executives say it will bring in $200 million in revenue in 2023.
