Marissa, representative of international students in China, made a speech at the ceremony.

Yaya Sutarya said that CLEC had held many online trainings with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Beijing and ASEAN-China Center and they had built up a good foundation of cooperation. This training for Indonesian international students in China was a new attempt to help Indonesian international students better adapt to their study life in China. He hoped that more Indonesian students would come to China in the future to learn Chinese language and experience Chinese culture, and he looked forward to more in-depth cooperation with CLEC and the ASEAN-China Center in the future.

Wang Jinhong said that Chinese Plus was the largest international Chinese language education network platform globally. For the adaptive training, Chinese Plus invited outstanding Chinese experts and scholars to lecture courses on Chinese language teaching, adaptation enhancement, contemporary China and culture. During the training, the students actively participated and shared ideas enthusiastically, showing their eagerness for knowledge and enthusiasm for learning Chinese. She believed this training was to be rewarding, and encourage the students to make more progress in their life of studying abroad.

Marissa thanked CLEC for organizing this online training in cooperation with ASEAN-China Center and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Beijing. She said that the training course had enriched their lives and left them with wonderful and unforgettable memories, and helped them to improve their Chinese language skills. What's more, they had learned more about Chinese culture and traditional Chinese fitness methods, and their confidence to better settle into campus life in the future had been enhanced.

Ms. Yu Tianqi stressed that with the strategic leadership of our two presidents, cooperation in various fields would certainly be further strengthened in the future, and the demand for professionals understanding the languages and cultures of both countries would be stronger. She hoped the students would make full use of their study time in China, work hard to master their professional knowledge and continuously improve their Chinese language skills. Therefore, they could build up their strength to help deepen cooperation between China and Indonesia in the future. She also expected that the students would share what they had learned in China with their relatives and friends, become envoys to enhance the friendship, and contribute to people-to-people contact between the two countries and the building of a community with shared future.

The training was co-sponsored by CLEC, ASEAN-China Center and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Beijing, and organized by Chinese Plus, adopting an online approach to conduct a 4-day adaptive training for 124 Indonesian international students in China.
