Salt Lake City, Utah – June 21, 2022 – For the first time since the start of the pandemic, travel is returning and in a big, new way. Innovations are being ushered in to amplify everyone’s experiences and foster Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). This was the impetus for Tosh Swain and Kaysie Nielson to start ExploringNotBoring, BLLC, to empower everyone with the tools to create more enriching experiences & connections. Now they’re in the process of launching their startup venture called The Experience Shoppe, which is the toolbox to help explorers galvanize as a community, easily connect with experts (guides, instructors, mentors and creators) for tried-and-true “things to do,” and enjoy new experiences in their own cities and around the world. 

As a gay, interracial, women-owned Benefit Limited Liability Company, they see the world without restrictions — an inclusive world where all support the perpetual growth of each other, oneselves and the environment. This is what they’ve set out to build and currently have a Kickstarter campaign underway to bring this vision to life. Tosh & Kaysie believe in passion over profit and search out like-minded experts across the globe who offer unique, personalized ideas that create this community marketplace. Over the past year, they’ve handpicked local creators who offer free or fee online or in-person experiences so folks can travel to new places, even from the comfort of their own home. With nearly 100 local partners, over 194 experiences & events and 50+ locations before launch, The Experience Shoppe is quickly becoming the go-to expert to discover and buy enriching experiences, events and products that shape the way folks live their lives. During a recent interview, Tosh made these comments, “We’ve dedicated the last two years of our lives to this project. We left the security of our salaries working for one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the nation, sold all our belongings and took on odd, random jobs in order to live life on our own terms while we bootstrap this meaningful platform. Not just for us, but for all who believe life is worth cultivating every day you get on this side of the soil.”
