It is a passion project set up by a small Minnesota based advertising firm to showcase the talented distillers, assistant distillers, farmers, techs, bottlers, designers, engineers, truckers, barrel makers, vendors, and entrepreneurs in the Minnesota Distillery business.
“The motivation behind MinnesotaDistillery.com is to encourage people to support Minnesota Distilleries and order Minnesota Made Spirits or Minnesota Craft Cocktails when out and about at restaurants and bars. Or purchase a bottle of their favorite locally distilled Minnesota Spirits when visiting a liquor store,” explains spokesperson for the brand Jordan J. Pearson.
“Our goal is to introduce consumers to the wide range of premium spirits made in their home state and feel good about choosing local whether they’re going out, or staying in.”
The Minnesota Distillery Map offers consumers a virtual tour of the 36 distilleries listed by the site as well as the farmers, barrel makers, and other vendors to the industry while the Directory of Minnesota Distilleries details what spirit each distillery makes, which can be useful when making signature drinks and craft cocktails.
“Our interactive map makes it easy to visualize where your favorite spirits are located. It’s a great tool if you’re planning to tour the state of Minnesota and visit its local distilleries.”
“If you’re not able to organize a Minnesota Distillery Tour, you can still create your own version of a Minnesota Distillery Tasting Room by ordering the various products at bars and restaurants that serve locally made alcohol.
