Cargill, Continental Grain buying chicken producer Sanderson Farms for $4.5 billion

Cargill Inc. is teaming up with Continental Grain Co. in a bid to buy Sanderson Farms Inc., the nation's third-largest producer of chicken, in a deal worth $4.5 billion.
