Named as the True Eye Experts Scholarship, the program grants one deserving student every year a $1,000 financial grant to cover college expenses. All incoming and current college students who are enrolled in a higher education program are welcome to apply.
Getting a college degree is never easy. It takes commitment, resources, and time to finish a higher education program. Although most K-`12 programs in the United States are supported by the government, colleges and universities may prove to be expensive for many high school graduates. Even a public 4-year college can cost as much as $20,000, making the price unattainable for aspiring students.
True Eye Experts believes that no student should be disadvantaged because of college expenses. Every learner should have the same opportunities to succeed in their higher education with finances not being a hindrance to graduate. To apply for the scholarship program, students must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a U.S. resident enrolling in a college, or a student who is enrolled in a U.S.-based college or university
- No GPA minimum, all students with varying grades are welcome to apply
- No specific gender, socio-economic status, race, ethnicity, or any other background requirement
- Must be registered in a U.S. college or university by the fall semester of 2022
Once students meet these criteria, they are also asked to complete a 500-word essay with the following prompt: "What's your vision for the future?" Only applicants who stay between the 475-525 words will be considered in the reviews.
All students must submit their applications through the scholarship program website on or before March 22, 2022.
