Meet Mee established in 2016 and founded by Clement, who created his first pan mee brand in 2003. With 20 years of experience in the F&B industry, he has created a total of four pan mee brands.
In 2019, Meet Mee had six physical stores. When the pandemic hit, Meet Mee strategically closed its physical stores and pivoted to e-commerce. After participating in the Astro AEC "SME Great Helper" program, Meet Mee launched its instant pan mee, which received an overwhelmingly positive response in the market and have been in high demand ever since.
Within just 12 months, Meet Mee has sold over 1 million packets of instant pan mee both online and offline, and has been the best-selling instant noodle category on Shopee for 25 consecutive months, making it the top-selling pan mee brand in Malaysia. Meet Mee even broke a record by selling 42,601 packets of instant pan mee in just one hour, which means an average of 710 packets sold every second. This record was also listed in the Malaysia Book of Records as the most instant pan mee sold by a brand in one hour.
Meet Mee is producing a total of 29 products, including instant pan mee, ready-to-eat chili, snacks, and condiments. In addition to online sales, Meet Mee also in West Malaysia has 200 offline sales points, including MiX, Ifruit, GT Mart, EZGO Mart etc. Meet Mee has also started selling small quantities of instant pan mee to Canada, China, Singapore, the UK, and Australia.
Meet Mee's products are HALAL certified from the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (JAKIM). In Malaysia, Meet Mee is the first instant chili pan mee with HALAL certification.
Last year, we opened two Meet Mee pan mee specialty stores to enhance the Meet Mee brand. We hope to further optimize the Meet Mee brand and sales channels through a dual-drive model of online and offline sales to consolidate Meet Mee's market share.
