UNCNGGF “Zero Carbon Public Welfare” Forum|Promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

By: Get News

In order to promote the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Carbon Neutrality Global Green Foundation (UNCNGGF) held the "Zero Carbon Public Welfare Online Video Launching Conference" in early August, to promote and raise the awareness of environmental protection of the whole mankind and advocate for the global reduction of carbon emissions through carbon reduction public welfare, education and training, and construction of environmental protection undertakings, and other public welfare projects.

It is reported that the carbon neutral Global Green Foundation "Zero Carbon Public Welfare Activity" launched a carbon footprint reduction launch ceremony, will be the United Nations on 16 September "International Day for the Protection of the Ozone Layer" officially launched. This event will lead 193 contract countries around the world to take low-carbon actions to protect the ozone layer and jointly combat climate change.

Zero Carbon Public Welfare, Contributing to Global Zero Carbon Progress

The Carbon Neutral Global Green Foundation (hereinafter referred to as "UNCNGGF") is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting global carbon reduction and protecting the Earth's green environment. UNCNGGF promotes global public awareness of and participation in climate change and carbon reduction through education and public service activities, and calls on people from all walks of life around the world to actively participate in carbon reduction actions and contribute to the realisation of a green global environment.

The United Nations has been supporting zero-carbon public welfare initiatives with the goal of promoting global carbon emission reduction and combating climate change, and has initiated and supported various public welfare education activities and environmental protection and emission reduction actions through the UNCNGGF organisation. Zero Carbon Public Welfare has become one of the most important public welfare activities in recent years.

The "Zero Carbon Public Welfare Online Video Conference" is jointly organised by UNCNGGF and Sustainable Energy Fund, with the participation of ambassadors from the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia and the United Nations, as well as diplomats, government officials, artists and other celebrities from other parts of the world. The event also featured speeches from the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations!

It was repeatedly emphasised at the conference that "with rising sea levels, floods, droughts and torrential rains, climate change is damaging economies and affecting lives. Urgent response action is urgently needed to save the human condition."

Building broad international co-operation and working together to promote low carbon development

Over the past few years, more and more companies have begun to focus on carbon neutrality and incorporate it into their sustainable development strategies. Carbon neutrality refers to a series of measures to offset or reduce carbon emissions from human activities, such as the burning of fossil fuels, industrial production and transport, which release large amounts of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, and lead to global climate change.

The UNCNGGF's Zero Carbon Fund can be used to support projects in renewable energy, energy efficiency improvement, forest protection and restoration, carbon capture and storage technologies, and the development of carbon market mechanisms such as emissions trading, carbon taxes and carbon offsets. Help companies achieve their carbon neutrality goals by investing in renewable energy, improving energy efficiency, and conducting carbon offset projects to reduce or offset carbon emissions.

Starting from reducing carbon footprint, building a green future together

The core concept of UNCNGGF is to offset one's own carbon footprint by supporting and investing in projects that reduce and absorb an equivalent amount of carbon emissions, in order to achieve the goal of reducing net carbon emissions.

This approach can help mitigate climate change in the short term and provide a transition to a longer term low carbon economic transition. However, carbon neutrality is not a permanent solution and should be combined with emission reductions and the adoption of other climate action measures to achieve comprehensive climate protection and sustainable development goals.

UNCNGGF clearly states that carbon neutrality is the core layout of ecological civilisation construction, and that global carbon neutrality will be fully achieved by 2050. As it is a matter of sustainable development for the global human race, people should start from the smallest things around people to raise people awareness of carbon reduction and reduce people carbon footprint.

To this end, UNCNGGF has set up Carbon Credits, a measurement tool for trading and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. By joining Zero Carbon Volunteers, you will receive carbon credits for 9 carbon footprints per day, which can be used to exchange for green equipment, participate in green crowdfunding, and adopt and protect forests.

In addition, carbon credits are an important mechanism for carbon trading and emission reduction! Carbon credits can be sold or transferred to other units, for example, to help enterprises with high carbon emissions to achieve sustainable development and reach the goal of promoting global emission reduction.

At the "Run to Zero Dialogue", UN Secretary General Guterres said that mobilising businesses, cities, regions and investors to support zero carbon emissions is a top priority for mitigating the environmental crisis and addressing climate change.

As a new force to promote the global green transition, the establishment of UNCNGGF is a reflection of the increasing global attention to environmental issues. In the future, UNCNGGF will uphold a simple, moderate, green and low-carbon production and lifestyle, so that the concept of green development will be deeply rooted in people's hearts.

From now on, join UNCNGGF, respond to the call of the United Nations, and jointly contribute to the promotion of global green transformation.
