Accelerate Learning’s core math curriculum programs receive USBE’s highest rating — Recommended Primary — for alignment with the Utah Core Standards

The Utah State Board of Education (USBE) approved Math Nation and STEMscopes Math for statewide adoption in the fall 2025 mathematics instructional materials adoption. The core math curriculum programs from Accelerate Learning earned the state’s top recommendation rating — Recommended Primary — for alignment with the content, philosophy, and instructional strategies of the Utah Core Standards for Mathematics. Math Nation received the Recommended Primary rating for grades K-12, and STEMscopes Math received the rating for grades K-8.

According to the USBE, a key purpose of state recommendation and adoption is to provide schools with the best available core-related materials. Utah districts are encouraged to use funds designated for state instructional materials for materials on the USBE recommended instructional materials list.

Math Nation and STEMscopes Math provide Utah educators with everything they need to deliver engaging, meaningful math instruction that fully aligns to the Core Standards and Utah’s Mathematics Vision and Mathematics Framework.
