Fiduciary Trust International Welcomes Alice Pearl as Trust Counsel in Los Angeles

Industry Veteran Brings Years of Experience Advising Clients on Sophisticated Trust & Estate Matters

Fiduciary Trust International, a global wealth manager and wholly owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton, has appointed Alice Pearl as trust counsel based in its Los Angeles office to support the firm’s growing client base in Southern California. She will focus on trust and estate administration, transactional estate planning, and advanced tax and gift strategies.

“Alice has more than a decade of experience helping affluent individuals and families put together effective, detailed trust and estate plans – enabling them to fully understand the implications, and necessity, of all the clauses within those plans,” said Stephen J. Dutka, Fiduciary Trust International’s regional managing director for California. “She will be a strong addition to our growing team in Los Angeles, where we continue to strengthen our suite of offerings for ensuring the seamless protection, growth, and transfer of multigenerational wealth.”

Ms. Pearl joins Fiduciary Trust International from Kopple, Klinger & Elbaz LLP in Los Angeles, where she was a senior associate attorney working with ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth clients on trust administration, probate, transactional estate planning, and advanced tax and gift planning matters. Her duties included drafting and implementing revocable trusts, wills, and powers of attorney. Earlier in her career, she was an associate attorney in the Law Offices of Michael K. Lanning, APLC and Weinstock Manion in Los Angeles.

“Fiduciary Trust International’s approach is centered on understanding every client’s unique goals and needs, and customizing advice and services accordingly,” said Ms. Pearl. “I am glad to be able to apply my legal expertise and experience to the firm’s holistic wealth and estate management offering.”

Ms. Pearl earned her Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law. She also graduated with high honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, and a minor in anthropology. Ms. Pearl is admitted to practice law in California, and is a member of the California State Bar’s Trust and Estates Section.
