About Gahn Lane

Mr. Lane began his career while still an undergraduate student, working multiple jobs to pay for both college and graduate school. He credits the mentorship of Girish Patel, a senior manager at Northern Telecom, for giving him an early opportunity that launched his career. Starting as an hourly intern, Mr. Lane advanced to marketing, then into direct sales and channel sales. He ultimately became vice president within 10 years. At Nortel, he managed the company's largest account, AT&T, on a global scale.

Following the breakup of Nortel, Mr. Lane joined Westcon Group to start a new business unit focused on service providers worldwide. Under his leadership, the unit grew from $10 million in revenue with two employees to more than $1 billion in booked business and 45 employees. He later served as vice president of sales for Lumen Technologies, overseeing a team of about 1,400 people. His career also includes senior leadership positions with Syniverse, PGi, Pindrop and Tone Commander, where he built strategic partnerships and drove substantial revenue growth.

A highlight of Mr. Lane's career came at Westcon Group, where he secured a $100 million global deal that led to the construction of a logistics center and warehouse at the Indianapolis International Airport, creating 180 jobs. Today, alongside his work at Double T Holdings, Mr. Lane is leading an ice and water business targeting select vertical industries and regions across the United States.

Mr. Lane holds a Master of Business Administration in international business from the University of Dallas and a bachelor's degree in business management and marketing from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. He also earned a master's certificate in e-commerce from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business.

Perseverance In and Out of the Office

Active in civic life, Mr. Lane supports wildlife and wetland restoration, foster children initiatives, scholarship programs, the Special Olympics and mission work in Central Africa. He is a member of the Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce. His many awards include CRN Magazine's Top 100 People You Don't Know But Should, multiple sales leadership honors from Lumen Technologies and the Exemplary Sales Leadership and Achievement award from Westcon Group.

Mr. Lane has been married for 32 years. His wife is a highly educated business and nonprofit leader who stepped away from her career to raise their daughter, whom they adopted from China. When Mr. Lane faced a thyroid cancer diagnosis and subsequent complications, his wife's unwavering support became even more evident as she stood by him throughout his treatment and recovery. He attributes his success to a strong belief that with good motives, good things happen.
