BETHESDA, MD / ACCESSWIRE / September 27, 2022 / In his recently concluded scholarship program, Jeremy Schulman would like to extend his sincerest congratulations to the students selected to receive a scholarship. Jeremy understands that the cost of education continues to rise as the quality improves which makes it increasingly difficult for certain families to send their children to university. This predicament is what motivated Jeremy to launch his recently concluded scholarship program.
The Jeremy Schulman Scholarship for First Generation Americans was a scholarship program primarily geared toward helping families develop breadwinners and also creating awareness of the many problems faced by children of immigrants in the United States, particularly within the education system. A total of 5 winners were announced for the scholarship with each deserving student recently being notified about their award and receiving a prize of $1000 that they can use for their education and tuition fees during their time in school. Applicants who applied for the scholarship were university students who are currently enrolled in university and also first-generation Americans. Graduating high school students were also encouraged to apply for the scholarship provided they were planning to enroll in university while also fulfilling the other conditions. Additionally, applicants were asked to provide a 1000-word essay that asks: "Describe an issue faced by immigrants in the education system and how you would improve upon that issue", as part of their scholarship requirements.
Jeremy congratulates everyone who applied for the scholarship. He hopes for the applicants who were not chosen for the scholarship that they continue striving in their education and future careers and applying to other scholarships whenever possible. As for the winners, he applauds their hard work and wishes them continuing success.
