[Pangyo Event] 2025 Global Accelerating Program Orientation Held to Boost Pangyo Startup Ecosystem





The 2025 Global Accelerating Program Orientation was held in Pangyo, supporting 12 startups for global expansion. Focused on AI and biotech, the program offers consulting, networking, and investment support, fortifying Pangyo's role as a startup hub.

PANGYO, KOREA, March 08, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The 2025 Global Accelerating Program Orientation was held on March 6 at the Gyeonggi Startup Campus in Pangyo Techno Valley, marking the official start of this year's initiative to support startup globalization.

Twelve companies have been selected for the program, and they will receive extensive support over the next year as they prepare to enter global markets. Three have been reselected for extended participation, while nine have joined new, ensuring a diverse range of startups embarking on their journey to international expansion.

The event opened with a welcome speech by Jun-Woo Lee, Head of the Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator (GBSA). He reflected on the program's beginnings, recalling, "I remember discussing this program for the first time around this time last year. After working alongside companies in Finland and other international markets, I've realized again how essential this initiative is."

He emphasized the competitiveness of the selection process, highlighting that all 12 chosen companies have demonstrated a high level of expertise. Lee also stressed that Pangyo's startup support ecosystem is thriving, particularly in AI and biotech. He described the comprehensive support structure beyond incubation, including consulting and international expansion assistance. He reaffirmed his commitment to helping the startups achieve meaningful success through the program.

Each 12 participating companies delivered five-minute IR presentations during the orientation, introducing their business models. Standout companies included APLA, which specializes in AI-driven 3D motion generation; Cure-in, which has developed an automated breast biopsy robot system; and PITEN, which researches natural materials for immune regulation in skincare.

Hojae Lee, CEO of Y&ARCHER, the company overseeing the Global Accelerating Program, took the stage to highlight the strong partnerships built through the program. He stated, "This program continues to thrive because of our strong bond with participating companies. This year, we will work even more closely to achieve tangible global expansion results." He also noted the growing interest in Korean startups in both the U.S. and Europe, emphasizing that Pangyo startups are gaining increased recognition on the world stage.

The networking session facilitated active discussions among companies. Participants explored opportunities for collaboration and expressed a strong determination to leverage the program for international expansion.

The Pangyo Techno Valley Global Accelerating Program will continue to provide tailored consulting, networking, and investment linkage support to foster startups' global expansion. Twelve selected companies have participated, and attention is now focused on the milestones they will achieve throughout the year.

The twelve selected companies are Cure-in, SOFT LANDERS, HOP, DEEPVELO, APLA, Refundy, Taiga, PolyGom, Voice Caddie X, MIRROR ROID, PITEN, and Nexpotsolution.

Pangyo Techno Valley is a global integrated R&D hub focused on IT, BT, CT, and NT, integrating Research (R), People (P), Information (I), and Trade (T). As Gyeonggi-do's representative innovation cluster, Pangyo Techno Valley was established to secure national new growth drivers such as technological innovation, human resource development, job creation, and enhancing international business competitiveness.
