Item 1.02 Termination of a Material Definitive Agreement.
Effective August 31, 2007, the employment agreement between John M. Myles and A. Schulman,
Inc. (the Company) was terminated as a result of the retirement of Mr. Myles from the Company.
Mr. Myles and the Company have entered into a Separation Agreement and a Consulting Agreement, each
of which are attached hereto, and incorporated by reference herein, as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2,
respectively, with respect to Mr. Myles retirement.
