Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.

 

As previously disclosed, the Board of Directors of American Realty Capital Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) has authorized and the Company declared an annual dividend of $0.70 per share. The Company’s dividend will be paid monthly to stockholders of record at the close of business on the 8th day of each month payable on the 15th day of such month. Accordingly, on April 15, 2012, the Company will pay its April dividend in an amount equal to $0.05833 per share to stockholders of record at the close of business on April 8, 2012.

 

Item 8.01.

 

On March 13, 2012, Nasdaq OMX issued a media advisory announcing that the Company will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square on March 14, 2012 to ring the closing bell in celebration of the Company’s listing on The NASDAQ Global Select Market.
