Singer-songwriter and musician Lady Redneck (aka Stephanie Lee) is releasing her first official single of the new year on January 29th with the cover “Kiss Me,” which was originally recorded by “Sixpence None the Richer” in 1997 and came out as a single in 1998.
While keeping the same dreamy, sultry feel of the original, Lady Redneck’s “Kiss Me” comes across with a cleaner but more poignant accompaniment. The guitar introduction has a haunting sort of blues signature created by “The Shredder” Brad Davis. Lady Redneck’s “Kiss Me” is a perfect blend of drive and whimsy.
“Lady Redneck” has been recording music since 2015 when she released her first original single “Love Me Baby,” which garnered international attention. Because of her stunning appearance, she is sometimes compared to other blonde bombshells like Dolly Parton and Marilyn Monroe. While her looks make the comparison easy, the dynamic personality and effervescence of Lady Redneck are all her own.
