Blessed Feet Studios has launched updated tumbling classes for children ages 4 through 9. The high-energy movement lessons are currently available for residents of San Marcos, Escondido, Vista, Carlsbad, and Oceanside, California.

The newly updated classes aim to build a solid foundation for children to enter into gymnastics or acrobatics practice in the future.
Research has shown that tumbling classes can have a range of physical and mental health benefits for young children and toddlers, including the promotion of healthy bone development, stimulated cognitive growth, increased self-esteem, and improved coordination.
Cassandra Bair, the founder and director of Blessed Feet, opened her studio in 2008 as an extension of Summit Church to share her passion for faith and dance with children. Although the company initially offered only dance classes, Blessed Feet Studios now offers tumbling, art, and theatre acting lessons as well.
The studio’s multi-level tumbling program helps kids develop foundational, basic, and intermediate gymnastic skills.
Blessed Feet offers four groups of tumbling classes based on age and skill-level: Tumble Tots for 3-year-olds, Tumblegarten for 4 to 5-year-olds, Tumbletastics for 6 to 9-year-olds, and Tumble Stars for 7 to 9-year-olds.
During each class, the studio’s team of experienced instructors will guide students through movements and engaging games in order to improve their strength, flexibility, body awareness, coordination, and balance.
Each child is provided with their own 4×8 foot tumbling mat to use during their lessons. Class times range from 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Due to the current pandemic, Blessed Feet Studios has also updated its policies to ensure the health and safety of students and staff. The company follows the “Safer Studio” guidelines, which include frequent hand washing, good hygiene practices, increased cleaning, and curricular and facility adaptations that aim to minimize mingling.
