Annual list of leaders who have shown excellence during crisis has been announced by media house Forbes India and people manager research and consultancy firm Great Manager Institute.

Mumbai, Oct 9, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Great Manager Institute, creator of the globally acclaimed Connect, Develop, Inspire framework for evaluation of people management, and leading business publication Forbes India has announced its list of top 100 great people managers in India. Owing to the timing of the announcement, the list is also touted as a list celebrating the greatest leaders of India in times of crisis.

The list consists of leaders from global companies such as Uber, Panasonic, Eaton, dunnhumby, Rakuten, as well as entrepreneurs from home grown Indian startups such as QA Infotech, TAC Security, Safexpay, and others. Senior executives from Indian pioneers such as Infosys and Aditya Birla Group also grace the list. These leaders have shown practices that shine during the times of crisis such as the one we are facing today, said a statement by Great Manager Institute.

"From listening to employees to continuously communicating with them and motivating them, managers are the invisible force playing a key role in helping organisations navigate the Covid-19 crisis. The Forbes India-Great Manager Institute's second annual study of India's best managers identified 100 such heroes--from CXOs to junior team leaders--who have earned their spurs during the pandemic", says Brian Carvalho, Editor of Forbes India, about the importance of this list and the heroes featured there.

Some of the heroes referenced here include Payal Sinha of dunnhumby, who is also a 2-time winner of this honour, Balfour Manuel, Managing Director of Blue Dart, Raj Tanwar of Concentrix Daksh, Bansi Raja of Gozoop, another 2-time winner, and several such leaders who are expected to be the flag bearers of the economic growth of the country of India despite the crisis. They show gratitude for everyone in the company and look after their development beyond their careers, one of the most important traits that make them great.

Late Chandramowliswaran Balasubramanian, Director of Operations, Cushman and Wakefield also make it to this coveted list. This Indian Air Force veteran passed away before the list was announced, but has proven himself to be a well respected and loved leader during the tough times of the real estate industry.

Great Manager Institute annually conducts the Great People Manager Study, the largest study of its kind, in partnership with Forbes India, which culminates in this list. The study witnessed participation from 1,158 organisations spread across 24 industries. This Study is planned for an expansion to the Middle East in the coming year.

"We invite the leaders who excel in connecting with, developing and inspiring them team members, through unique and memorable practices that make them special, to become part of this list. The registration for the coming year is already open. These are the leaders who do not just survive in the pandemic, but excel as well", added Shivangi Shinari, team leader of Great People Manager Study 2021.
