MINNEAPOLIS - June 19, 2020 - (Newswire.com)

European-inspired brewery rooted in Minnesota, Utepils Brewing is pleased to announce the reopening of its spacious Fernweh Taproom and park-like Beer Garden. Early this month, the brewery eagerly welcomed back friends, family, and good beer enthusiasts to enjoy its scenic creekside venue for fresh air and their favorite pint of Utepils beer.

"We now live in the age of COVID-19, and many aspects of our lives have changed, and we need to adapt to a new normal," said Dan Justesen, founder of Utepils. "Yet as human beings, we have the desire to engage with our friends, family, and community. We seek every opportunity to enjoy a beer and talk about life, sports, or whatever is on our minds. We do this best outside by a creek."

What Patrons Can Expect:

To protect the safety of Utepils' guests and Taproom staff, and to comply with all state guidelines regarding social distancing, the brewery will limit access to its taproom and Beer Garden by reservations only. Within the Taproom, chairs and tables are spread six feet apart to permit adequate distance between patrons. In addition, the Beer Garden seating will be based on a first come, first served basis following capacity guidelines.

Guests are required to bring a face mask to the brewery. While outside, patrons are not required to wear their masks, but anytime a person enters the Taproom area to order, or use the restroom, a face mask must be worn. For patrons sitting inside the Taproom, once you have collected your beer and sit at your table, you are permitted to remove your face mask.

All patrons must make reservations. To book before visiting the brewery visit utepilsbrewing.com or book upon arrival.

The brewery also announced that it has incorporated additional sanitization practices to help disinfect and protect guests and staff. These include, but are not limited to, wiping down all tables and chairs between reservations with sanitizer, new social distancing measures, health screenings, frequent bathroom cleanings, and more.

"Utepils by definition is about your individual experience," Justesen continued. "We’re committed to offering you choices. Everyone has a different comfort level on venturing out and we respect that."

Fans of Utepils can also pre-order and pick up their favorite selection of beers through the brewery's Beer2Go.
