TP Vision Ships Philips' First Bluetooth 5.0 Sports Earbuds with World's Smallest In-Ear Heart Rate Sensing from WBD101

Integrated with WBD101 ActivHearts™ Heart Rate Sensing Technology, the Philips TASN503 is a pair of light-weight comfort fit sports earbuds with built-in IPX5 Water Proof rating, making the earbuds suitable for sports as well as daily use.

LAS VEGAS, NV, January 07, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Well Being Digital Limited (WBD101) announced that its heart rate sensing technology (ActivHearts™) has been incorporated by TP Vision into the Philips TASN503 BT 5.0 Sports Earbuds

The Philips TASN503 boasts an IPX5 soak-proof rating, which means that they are resistant to sustained soaking, allowing users to train hard and sweat hard. These earbuds have been tested at running speeds of up to 16 km/h and delivers precision similar to the chest belts through-out the running period. The playtime of up to 6 hours, with the heart rate sensing turned on, allows the most avid exercisers sufficient time to complete their marathon and more.

Being the Philips' first earbuds with in-ear heart rate sensing, the small and well-hidden sensors in the earbud aim to fit most ears and when used with the correct size rubberized wing tips, it provides secure and comfort fit even to those with smaller ears. The user-friendly buttons allow users to pause their playlist, take calls, and adjust the volume — all without touching the smartphone. The earbuds are ready to pair as soon as Bluetooth is turned on, and once paired, the smartphone remembers the last device it was paired with.

The Philips TASN503 is compatible with most 3rd party sports apps that track heart rate through the standard Heart Rate Profile over BLE. Smartphone apps like Runkeeper™, Polar Beat™, Endomondo™, Runtastic™, Codoon™, Apple HealthKit™ and Google Fit™ support standard Heart Rate Profile over BLE. Unlike using smart watches, users can get real time audio feedback from the apps — whether they are running and trying to keep below their maximum heart rate zone, or when they are brisk walking and are trying to keep within the fat burn exercise zone. By hearing the heart rate information through the earbuds instead of staring at the heart rate information from the smart watch's small display, exercise becomes safer and more enjoyable.

With the advance 6mm audio speakers and built-in mic with echo cancellation for clear audio, the Philips TASN503 brings premium audio performance for its class — no more annoying echoes when talking on the phone. With its acoustic echo cancellation, one will always get clear and undisturbed connections, making the Philips TASN503 a good companion for work and play.

"Heart rate sensing technology is a meaningful added value feature for the sports earbuds market," says WBD101 co-Founder Kow Ping, "In a recent survey conducted by our company, almost 60% of the 600 survey respondents are ready to upgrade their earbuds to one that includes heart rate sensing."
