Tucker Frump: The Children's Book that Predicted Impeachment

Tucker Frump is a children's book that aims to teach kids that lying, bullying, discrimination, cheating, and name-calling are bad…despite what they see from the president.

In the beautifully colorful book, author/illustrator Floyd Orfield pokes fun at the current administration by pulling from real-life events. From Tucker Frump thinking the Little White House School is a dump, grabbing neighborhood cats without their permission, playing way too much mini-golf, to his "Uncle Brad" helping win the school elections with red MOSCOW hats (Make Our School Cool, Only Winners). Once Tucker kinda sorta wins the school election, he builds a wall around his school, converts the school to coal-powered, and gets rid of the school nurse.

The book hits a lot of nails on the head but also triggered a lot of right-wing criticism, calling the author anti-American, libtard, amongst other colorful names, and even accusing the author of brainwashing kids. "I wouldn't call it brainwashing, but if your kid needs help understanding that lying, bullying, and name-calling aren't appropriate, this might be a good book for you," replied Floyd. "A lot of the people that called me names and called me anti-American, were the same people who bashed President Obama for eight years. The hypocrisy is palpable, and believe it or not, before our current president, you could even criticize or disagree with the president and his policies and you wouldn't be considered anti-American, is was the great part of our American Democracy. So, if you can get behind a president that lies daily, attacks half of our country daily (Democrats), mocks the handicap, discredits our intelligence agencies, attacks a 16-year-old girl with Aspergers, defrauds his charity of over two million dollars…the list goes on and on; I think that says a little bit more about you than it does about me."

If you're like most American's polled that disapprove of the presidents' job or behavior in office, you might get a real kick out of this children's book. But if you're one of the American's who can't understand why people don't like the most abrasive and divisive (see Twitter) president in our history, you might want to skip this book.
