HanesBrands Announces Process to Appoint New Chief Financial Officer

HanesBrands (NYSE:HBI) announced today that Chief Financial Officer Barry A. Hytinen has notified the company of his decision to leave Hanes to accept another career opportunity outside of the apparel industry. Hytinen, 44, will continue to serve as Hanes chief financial officer until the end of the fiscal year, Dec. 28, 2019.

With the support of an outside search firm, Hanes will initiate a comprehensive search to fill the CFO role. The company will consider both internal and external candidates.
