Lockheed to study risk reduction, deliverability of redesigned nuclear warhead

Lockheed Martin received a $108.3 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to research the Mk21A Reentry Vehicle for delivery of the W87-1 nuclear warhead, which the Pentagon aims to field by 2030.
