Shaun Byrnes: The Entrepreneur That Is Changing The Global Fitness Game

NEW YORK, NY, September 16, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Entrepreneur Shaun Byrnes began his career from nothing.

Today, Mr. Byrnes has almost 100,000 followers on Instagram where he shares his journey on social media after founding a tech start-up in health and fitness called Shredded.

When Shaun was fifteen, he dropped out of high school and began working as a graphics designer. Within a year, Shaun was able to teach himself computer programming. By seventeen, he was already leading projects and engineering software for businesses in fields such as construction, maintenance, legal, e-commerce, wholesale and travel. This success in this industry gave him the freedom to travel the world in his early twenties.

After he spent some years traveling, and networking, he saw an opportunity to assert himself in the booming fitness market, which he was already heavily involved in. It was then, Shredded; a tech start-up in health and fitness, was created.

According to Shaun, "Shredded is the missing platform for anyone who wants to be fit and healthy, regardless of who they are." A social network and marketplace for health/fitness/wellness on mobile platforms. It allows individuals and wellness professionals to record, graph and track exercises, workouts, or diet all in a single location. Giving professionals a means to market and sell services in person and remotely.

"For example, a personal trainer records a client's regime using our technology and charges them via our app for fitness training," he explains.

Shaun's motivation stemmed from his passion for fitness and helping others. He already had his own private gym and was following a strict training routine. At the time, he was using a single app which only allowed him to do one exact program. Once he began to add in different exercises and a diet, he started to become frustrated. He was unable to do it all in one app and was constantly switching between different platforms. Shaun began research for an app that could offer him a single platform to do everything he needed, but quickly realized nothing like this existed yet. At which point the vision of Shredded was formed.

Once Shaun decided to embark on the journey of creating Shredded, he quickly realized that he would have to have the right mindset to deal with what was to come. "Forming a business, especially a startup with massive goals, is an undertaking which requires enormous perseverance and determination. Early on most people won't get it and often aren't supportive." he shares. After several years of relentless work, things started to align for Shaun and the team at Shredded; but this required many sacrifices and a long-term mentality few people have.

"You will often be doing things which others won't be able to make sense of and have to be OK with that. Able to acknowledge and continue to go about your business, inching closer to long term goals, by completing short term ones," he says.

Shaun is able to separate himself from the competition by meticulous attention to detail and a willingness to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of his competition and the market at large, in order to improve Shredded's offering to customers. Always learning and every hungry for ways to fulfil the vision.

Shaun balances his main priority Shredded with several other projects and businesses. He is currently focusing on expanding and completing the platform for launch and what's to come after. Ensuring he will be able to make an improvement in the lives of others through his latest platform.
