F-35s to get warfare system upgrades, laser shock peening to strengthen aircraft

BAE was awarded a $74.9 million contract to improve electronic warfare capabilities of F-35s, and the Navy announced a facility to provide laser shock peening to strengthen components on parts of the global F-35 fleet.
