Sklar Kirsh Partner Justin Goldstein Named a 2019 Top Litigator by Los Angeles Business Journal

The Los Angeles Business Journal today published its list of the “2019 Top Litigators in Los Angeles,” naming Sklar Kirsh Litigation Practice Group Chair Justin M. Goldstein among the elite group. Goldstein is one of only a few of the well-known and well-respected litigators to make the list of attorneys who the Journal describes as going “to the proverbial mat to fight for their clients.”

For the past two decades, Goldstein has regularly represented some of the country’s largest and most well-known companies in complex litigation matters. He recently served as lead counsel for a major energy company in a month-long federal court jury trial involving tens of millions of dollars, which ended in a straight verdict in his client’s favor. Goldstein then successfully argued the appeal before the Ninth Circuit, which upheld the judgment. In addition to handling a wide array of commercial disputes, he also regularly represents television and motion picture studios in intellectual property and profit participation cases, and has developed an expertise in trade secret controversies.

Goldstein founded the firm’s litigation practice group in January of 2018, and since then has assembled a team of blue-chip litigators with wide-ranging expertise in handling disputes involving corporate governance, finance, energy industry, real estate, bankruptcy, intellectual property, and entertainment issues.
