Report: HP, Google and others plan to shift production out of China

President Trump has repeatedly threatened to raise import tariffs on every Chinese-made product entering the U.S. Those tariffs are paid by the company importing the product, who then passes the cost on — in either the form of lower corporate profit margins, or higher prices for American consumers.
