Maria Bates, Owner/CEO at MFit Studios Launches "The Mompreneur Mindset"

KANSAS CITY, MO, June 22, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Maria Bates was recently recognized as a 2019-2020 influencer with the International Association of Women.

While studying to become a Physical Therapist, Maria Bates started working as a Personal Trainer, figuring it would be a good way to get some hands-on experience with clients.

"What I did not expect was a complete career change," she said. "I completely fell in love with the process of educating and helping clients through their fitness journey, and especially seeing the results they worked so hard for."

Ms. Bates went on to have a highly successful career as a Personal Trainer, but eventually decided to go further.

"After a few years of being one of the top trainers nationwide, I was feeling as though I had reached my limit in the gym but wanted to help so many more people," she said. "So, I made the scary jump to become an entrepreneur and started my own training company, MFit Studios. I have since fine-tuned my niche, and now help women find what works for their bodies to get long-term, lasting results!"

When she first opened her studio two years ago, Ms. Bates handled every aspect of the business, from sales and training to administrative and marketing duties. As her business has steadily grown, she has hired other qualified Trainers, a Personal Assistant, a Marketing Manager and Client Relations Manager.

"We are staffed with incredibly qualified and compassionate women who truly care about each client we serve!" she added.

In addition to using her own skills as a Trainer to help women look and feel better, Ms. Bates believes communication is where she excels.

"I truly believe my greatest skill is listening to each client and finding what works best for them," she said. "I run my business with my heart and know our programs and hard-working staff impact each of the lives of these women who come to us with their needs and goals." Ms. Bates added, "The greatest reward by far is seeing the excitement in each woman's face on measurement days, as well as hearing about their experience in their own words. Not just dropping inches, or getting stronger, but the things that hold more value, like having energy to keep up with their kids, or the confidence to start dating again, or not having to have someone take care of them when their older...it's priceless."

In addition to MFit Studios, Ms. Bates, who is married and has a daughter, is also passionate about helping other mothers discover their true potential through fitness, business and life coaching.

"I'm currently writing a book, The Mompreneur Mindset, and developing a coaching platform for moms who want to live their best life," she said.

As to the future, Ms. Bates' goals are to continue to grow her companies and to have an impact on the lives of as many women as possible.

"I want to help women discover their true potential and become fit, healthy and confident in every area of life," she said. "Most importantly, I want to leave a legacy for my daughter. I want her to be proud of me and know that I've worked so hard at this crazy entrepreneurial life to create a life of freedom to enjoy with her, so I don't miss a thing. She is my ultimate 'why.'"
