(TSX-V:SVS) ("Solarvest" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce that an additional patent has been granted in the United States for its key patent family titled 'System, Method, and Device for The Expression or Repression of Proteins'. The patent is related to the Company's use of its algae platform and the claims have been granted for the production of clean hydrogen gas. The Company's parent US patent in this patent family also covers the algal platform-based production of pharmaceutical grade human therapeutic proteins, for example: BMP (bone morphogenetic protein), Insulin and the production of CBD (cannabinoids).
