Dr. Weyer is a highly regarded physician who was selected to participate in this surgery based on his significant contributions to research in skin cancer and Mohs Surgery. Dr. Weyer is one of the founders of Dermatology and Plastic Surgery of Arizona. He is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Fellowship Trained Mohs Surgeon. He completed his undergraduate work locally at the University of Arizona and worked at the Arizona Cancer Center where he did research in the growth, invasion, and metastasis of prostate cancer. After graduating from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed a dermatology residency and trained in Mohs Surgery at the Center for Surgical Dermatology in Columbus, Ohio. In addition to being employed by the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Weyer has received many awards and honors for his significant contributions to research in skin cancer and Mohs surgery.
