Miami, Jan 17, 2019 (Issuewire.com) - Ocean Drive restaurant, Il Giardino Restaurant, 1236 Ocean Drive, will participate in this weekends Kitchen Lab during this years annual Art Deco Weekend.
The three-day event will feature a Kitchen Lab at 9th Street and Ocean Drive where Miamis top chefs demonstrate cooking their favourite dishes for attendees. Il Giardinos Head Chef, RodrigoGalera, will feature one of his signature dishes from the new menu at 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 19th.
Im cooking up something fresh directly from our new menu which was launched last summer, Galera said. Im excited for everyone to get a taste.
Attendees will witness how its prepared and then get a sample to enjoy, while they learn tips and about Il Giardino including the wines we have that pair well with the entrée. When rewriting the menu, the restaurant used the opportunity to reimagine some dishes by Galera whois an Italian-Argentinian and brings his special flair to staples like Grilled Octopus, Tuna Tartare and S&S Mussels, which rank among the restaurants top sellers.
We are excited to be a part of Art Deco Weekend, which is such an important part of the history of the entertainment district and Ocean Drive, said the owner, OrhanDuz.
Art Deco Weekend runs from Friday, January 18th through Sunday, January 20 and includes several activities like walking tours and live music performances along with the chef demonstrations.
Il Giardino is looking forward to introducing more locals to the restaurant and will follow its demonstration with its own live flamenco show until 11 p.m. on Saturday.
