In trading on Monday, the First Trust NYSE Arca Biotechnology Index Fund ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, up about 19.5% and shares of Ionis Pharmaceuticals, up about 9.7% on the day.
