LODI, Calif. - Aug. 25, 2018 - PRLog -- In effort to raise money to help feed students in the impoverished country of Haiti, local Grill and Outdoor Kitchen Manufacturer, Bull Outdoor Products, will be hosting the 5th annual Grill for Good Gala at the Woodbridge Golf and Country Club, of Lodi, California.
"In 4 years, the Grill for Good campaign has raised over $225,000, built two kitchen facilities for rural school communities and we are currently constructing the third cafeteria," says Barbara Nureddine wife of Bull's CEO and founder of Grill for Good. Family homes have been rebuilt, children have received lunches at their schools and more students have been able to continue their education. In a country where fewer than 50% of the population attends school beyond the sixth grade, helping families keep their children in school is important for the country's development.
This year's Grill for Good event is on September 8 at the Woodbridge Golf and Country Club, 5:30 - 9:30. About Grill For Good
In Partnership with Bull Outdoor Products, Inc, For a Reason has embarked on the "Grill for Good" campaign that will build cafeterias at the schools our students attend. For most of our students and their classmates, the daily lunch served at these rural schools is the only meal children receive that day. Our first undertaking, in 2015, was stage one of the outdoor facility at the Zanmi Agrikol University in Corporant, Haiti. Students learn agricultural techniques, construction and woodworking. The facility will not only be used to prepare and feed the students attending the university but will eventually become a center for teaching community members about food processing, preparation and preservation.
