Palatine, IL – Seeking to capitalize on the hottest trend in permanent make-up, local entrepreneur, Cindy Kircher, recently opened her eyeBrWoW microblading studio in downtown Palatine.
Microblading is a new technique that semi-permanently enhances a woman’s eyebrows using a process that provides a fuller, symmetrical more natural looking brow. Once completed the new brows will look perfect for about two years.
Ms. Kircher, who is eyeBrWoW’s President, said that she was motivated to open her shop because her active lifestyle made it difficult for her to look her best and still maintain her demanding schedule.
“My day starts early with a visit to the gym then I rush home to shower and change to make it to work on time. I often had no time to properly apply my make-up and on some days, sadly, I really didn’t look my best,” she said.
Kircher said she had her eyebrows microbladed over a year ago and she said the time she has saved has been invaluable to her, her career and the multitude of activities she has on her weekly schedule.
“Most women are like me, particularly those with active careers and families. They have a tough time balancing a job, family or both and still look put together,” she said. “Microblading eyebrows,” Kircher said, “ is not only a time saver it’s an investment in your image and your lifestyle. “
Kircher received her microblading certificate from one of the best schools not only in Chicago but the entire country. While the technique is still relatively new the word is spreading and more women are having the procedure done.
Kircher said microblading is a relatively simple process that draws some of its foundations from tattooing. “It’s not permanent as a tattoo but it comes closest to explaining the origins of the procedure.”
Kircher said the process lasts about 2 ½ hours from beginning to end. She said she likes to talk to her clients first to get to know their personalities because, she said, “no two women are alike and personality along with facial features help her construct the perfect brow.”
“At eyebrWoW, my goal to provide each woman with a look that is uniquely hers. A look that not only accentuates her beauty but conveys an expression of confidence, refinement and class,” she said.
As for cost, fees generally run between $450 – $650 and includes the initial visit and subsequent touch-up depending on the goals of the client and the condition of her brows. After the initial session there is an occasional need for a yearly color boost that usually runs about $150.
Kircher said she wanted to see microblading in Palatine because suburban women deserve big city amenities. “Why drive or train downtown when the services are right here in Palatine,” she said.
