Kevin Haverty Joins Drift’s Board of Directors

Drift, the world’s leading conversational marketing and sales platform, today announced that enterprise sales leader Kevin Haverty has been elected to Drift’s board of directors.

Haverty is the EVP of Worldwide Sales at ServiceNow and has held a range of sales leadership positions in the enterprise technology space over the last two decades, including EMC and Data Domain. In his current role at ServiceNow, Haverty leads a team of enterprise, commercial and inside sales executives, as well as the solution consulting practice and the partner organization. Under his leadership, ServiceNow has grown from $128 million in 2011 to $1.93 billion in 2017.

“Kevin has a resume as a sales leader that speaks for itself and we are excited to welcome him to Drift’s board of directors” said David Cancel, Drift’s CEO. “He’s seen it all in sales from Data Domain to EMC to ServiceNow, and we’re lucky to have his experience on our side as we reimagine the way businesses buy from businesses.”

“From an inside rep right out of college to an executive, I’ve been in sales my entire career and I can tell you that sales reps have been dreaming of an innovative product like Drift,” Haverty said. “There’s a huge opportunity to re-write the playbook for sales and marketing, and I’m honored to be joining the board at Drift to help however I can.”

Before joining ServiceNow in 2011 as VP of Sales, Americas, Haverty served as Vice President of Americas Sales of the Backup Recovery Systems division of EMC from July 2009 to December 2011. From April 2006 to July 2009, Haverty held senior positions at Data Domain (which was acquired by EMC in 2009), including Vice President of Americas Sales. Prior to Data Domain, he served as Managing Director of Sales for the Corporate Division of Thomson Financial, Corporate Account Director at Brocade Corporation and held various sales leadership positions at EMC dating back to 1995. A veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Haverty served in the US Army National Guard for a decade and attained the rank of Captain. Haverty holds a B.A. in Political Science from Providence College and was a member of ROTC and a Distinguished Military Graduate.
