Aurora, CO – Edge Church, a young church full of energy, is today delighted to announce their latest action-packed events for the younger members of their congregation. The events have been carefully planned and structured to appeal to the young people. All of the events at the Centennial Church will feature fun and exciting activities but will also provide the opportunity to learn some valuable life lessons as part of the process.
It all starts with a Lock-In at The Scene on April 20-21, from 7 am – 7 pm. Open to all 6th to 12th graders; the event will starts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday night and ends at 7 a.m. on Saturday morning. The cost per child will be $25.00 and will include transport to and from Boondock’s, laser tag, bowling, dinner, snacks and even breakfast! Extra money will be required for the arcades.
This is followed by Wild Week, June 4-7, and is for younger children between age 3 and having completed 5th grade. Children will learn practical truths from the Bible, which has the potential of positively impacting them for the rest of their lives. The events will be exciting, energetic and take place in a safe and fun environment. Pre-Registration cost is $25 per child with a maximum cost of $50 per household.
The final event is Student Camp, which takes place between June 18th and the 22nd. This will be a crazy week, for students who have completed the 6th to 12th grade. The exciting aspect of this event is that it presents Edge Church teenagers with the opportunity to join hundreds of other young teens from across the nation at the YMCA of the Rockies. Here they will experience high-energy worship and Bible teaching, wild recreation and games and will have the chance to make friendships that will last a lifetime!
