Want to Prevent Ankle Rolls? Clinical Testing Shows This Device is the Best

Boise State University's Biomechanics Lab publishes their independent testing white paper on the patented Ankle Roll Guard...and it out-performed the ASO ankle brace and tape
MERIDIAN, Idaho - Jan. 26, 2018 - PRLog -- In March of 2016, Ankle Roll Guard received an Idaho IGEM Grant of $250k to work with Boise State University's Center for Orthopaedic & Biomechanics Research (COBR) lab to perform an independent study of the effectiveness of the Ankle Roll Guard versus ankle braces and tape.  After over a year of testing subjects, the white paper has been completed!

"Of all the devices (Ankle Roll Guard, Brace, Tape), only the Ankle Roll Guard appears to allow the user normal ankle motion (i.e. typical anatomical joint motion), while preventing excessive ankle inversion" --Dr. Tyler Brown, PhD, CSCS, Director of COBR

White Paper Conclusion: The Ankle Roll Guard may provide similar prevention of excessive inversion as either the brace or tape, but without the mechanical restriction of the joint that reportedly limits physical performance when wearing ankle prophylactic devices.  With the Ankle Roll Guard, participants exhibited more natural ankle motions (i.e. plantar flexion) during both the sudden inversion event and vertical jump.  This motion allowed the participants to perform better during the vertical jump with the Ankle Roll Guard as compared to the more restrictive brace and tape.
