The Chesapeake Gateway Chamber of Commerce kicks off its 70th Anniversary at Martin’s East on January 24, 2018, at 6 PM with its Annual Dinner featuring their special keynote speaker, Governor Larry Hogan. The evening will include an awards ceremony to honor local businesses, organizations and individuals who are setting the standards for excellence and innovation with their business practices and community involvement. The inauguration of the 2018 Chamber officers and board also will take place that night.
“We are excited to have the Governor joining us for the second year in a row,” says Chamber Executive Director Sharon Kihn. “We are pleased to honor the businesses and organizations that helped our community and the Chamber to grow, whether it’s new development like Greenleigh and Tradepoint Atlantic, or the revitalization of downtown Essex.”
