Carolina Panthers to be sold at end of 2017 season

Jerry Richardson, under intense scrutiny about alleged workplace misconduct, said Sunday he will sell the NFL franchise. Earlier in the day, the NFL disclosed plans to take control of a planned internal investigation by the Panthers of Richardson, just as Sports Illustrated reported four financial settlements with former employees because of inappropriate comments made by Richardson.
