Austin company behind glow-in-the-dark fish in pet stores sells IP for $50 million

The fluorescent fish you see at Walmart and PetSmart were developed by an Austin-based company, founded in 2001. The GloFish brand was recently bought by a major goods company that also sells Armor All car-care products, Rayovac batteries and Black+Decker kitchen appliances.
