In trading on Wednesday, the Gold Miners ETF (GDX) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Tahoe Resources (TAHO), up about 7.6% and shares of Goldcorp (GG), up about 4.6% on the day.
