Sharyn Atkinson will launch The G.F. List: Hurricane Love Giveaway, and sweep through Melbourne, Geelong and New York City to spread a little love to the single women of world on 14 February 2014.
PRLog - Jan. 29, 2014 - MELBOURNE, Australia -- Sharyn Atkinson will commence the whirlwind The Hurricane Love Giveaway with The G.F. List Crew at 8am at Flinders Street station by handing out instructions for where commuters can download a free copy of her ebook.
The G.F. List: Hurricane Love Giveaway will then move through the city loop to Parliament, Melbourne Central and Flagstaff train stations and conclude at midday.
Sharyn Atkinson, and selected business owners, will also be giving away thirty-seven copies of her book at secret locations throughout Melbourne, Geelong and New York City on Valentine’s day.
Each book given away will be named after a chapter in The G.F. List, and will contain instructions for the reader to leave the book wherever they finish reading it, such as a café or airport.
That copy is then free for someone else to find, read, and again leave in a location of their choice for another person.
Sharyn Atkinson, author of The G.F. List: One Woman, With a List of Men, Answering the Question Singles Hate, came up with the concept for her book one Valentine’s day when she was asked countless times, why she was single.
This Valentine’s day Sharyn Atkinson wants to shower the women of the world with a little love, and reassure them that they are not alone and whatever they’re going through, she has probably been through it too. “I really cringe when people ask me why I’m single. I mean, I obviously broke up with someone at some point and there’s really not going to be a warm and fuzzy story that explains why I am single.” Sharyn adds
“So this Valentine’s day I want to give away copies of my book all over the world to celebrate the day, my way. I would love a crystal ball so I know where the copies I leave in secret locations will end up. Some locations are quite obscure, so it will definitely be a lot of fun for the single women out there.”

Sharyn Atkinson has been single for 12 years, despite her attempts to go out and meet eligible bachelors. Simply not interested in most of the bachelors in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia, she has found out that the ones that she is interested in still have their good and bad moments. She would love to get married and start a family, but Atkinson refuses to settle for just anyone. Through her long line of dating experiences, she has incorporated the good, the bad and the ugly from her past into her book, “The G.F. List: One Woman, With a List of Men, Answering the Question Singles Hate.”
