Greater Raleigh Area Housing Sales Continually Improve as Market Steadily Grows
PRLog - Jun 26, 2013 - RALEIGH, N.C. -- With the growing number of Triangle home sales totaling nearly 3,000 for May, Triangle Real Estate Group reports purchases are up more than four percent over the last month alone. More homes are selling faster, market prices are steadily increasing, and building starts are up- all signs the economy is continuing to stabilize, according to Jason and Scott Graves, brokers and neighborhood specialists with Triangle Real Estate Group, a local real estate company that specializes in the sales and marketing of properties in the Greater Raleigh area.  

“Buyers are coming back home – they’re at the door and ready to welcome a new and improved market. That feeling of confidence is something consumers are finally getting accustomed to again,” says Jason Graves in a recent interview with Jeremy Salemson’s Triangle Business Today featured on WRAL.com.

Continued market improvements have not only brought buyers and sellers back into the game, it’s also allowed builders to step up to the plate – putting more new product on the ground once again.  As new home developments emerge, they can be directly linked to the increased demand created by an improved market; leading home prices to stabilize and even increase in some neighborhoods around the triangle.

And with these positive market changes comes a dynamic shift in the buying and selling process, Jason reminds consumers.  Previous pricing and marketing strategies are no longer in effect; the process has greatly evolved and so should the way consumers approach it. What worked for sellers five years ago just doesn’t transfer in today’s market.

Jason and Scott Graves are credited for more than 180 listing appointments and more than 60 homes sold across the Triangle in 2012. Jason was previously a listing partner for the Linda Craft & Team Realtors and Scott was a buyer specialist. They moved to the Triangle Real Estate Group in April 2013.
