Wright State University, with campuses in Dayton and Celina, Ohio, has partnered with eCampus.com for a fresh new bookstore experience beginning in Fall 2022. Wright State University, a Carnegie-classified research university, serves over 11,000 students across both campuses, offering nearly 300 degree programs.

Wright State decided to partner with eCampus.com after a thorough evaluation and selection process that included key university stakeholders. The new partnership will focus on increased affordability and convenience through a simplified course material ordering experience for students. Students will easily order course materials online through eCampus.com’s cutting-edge digital platform. Seamless integrations with existing systems will create a customized ordering experience that instantly populates all required content based on students’ class schedules. With every content format available — including both print and digital — students can select the format that best fits their budget and learning style and take advantage of free delivery to the campus store.

In addition to course materials, eCampus.com will assume Wright State’s campus store operations at both campus locations. The Dayton Campus will enjoy a newly outfitted retail location in the Student Union, with an expanded assortment of branded merchandise and apparel, a fresh new look and feel, and an elevated collegiate retail experience for the entire Wright State community. The new campus bookstore will also serve as a convenient course materials service center to support students with all their textbook and course material needs, including order pickup, seasonal buyback and rental return events, and superior customer support. The campus store will also have a fully integrated online store where customers can shop for course materials, apparel, and merchandise in one seamless transaction.

In addition to student benefits, Wright State’s partnership with eCampus.com will offer a cutting-edge course materials management platform for faculty to research and adopt best-fit course content. Administrators will have transparency into a robust analytics and insights portal to help navigate trends that can shape both student and institutional success.

“eCampus.com has established itself as a market leader in partnering with universities and is a great fit for Wright State as we actively transition to a hybrid bookstore model,” said Greg Sample, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Wright State. “They bring innovation in the delivery of learning materials to campuses and energy and enthusiasm around the campus store experience. Wright State is excited about this new partnership.”

“eCampus.com is excited to bring decades of industry experience to reimagine collegiate retail and course materials management for Wright State University,” said Matt Montgomery, President and CEO of eCampus.com. “Our shared focus on supporting student success through access to high-quality course materials and a commitment to consistently elevating the Wright State brand will be the driving force behind our tireless pursuit of exceeding expectations.”

The new partnership will officially launch on July 1, 2022.
