Dr. Gallus has a national reputation as a leader in the field of plastic surgery. Her career began with a distinguished tenure in the U.S. Navy, where she held key leadership positions and honed her skills in complex reconstructive procedures. After her military service, Dr. Gallus founded Restore SD Plastic Surgery, a cosmetic-focused plastic surgery practice where she offers a wide range of plastic surgery procedures including breast surgery, tummy tucks (abdominoplasty), liposuction, and non-surgical treatments such as Botox® and dermal fillers. At Restore SD, she is known for an educational, patient-centered approach to cosmetic medicine, as well as a commitment to excellence in plastic surgery results.
With over two decades of experience in practice, she has served as chair of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) Women’s Plastic Surgery and Ethics committees, has lectured widely on behalf of the Plastic Surgery Foundation, and has been a featured expert in numerous articles in national publications. Her unique and varied background, along with her dedication to continuous learning, make her well-positioned to lead the San Diego plastic surgery community.

Dr. Gallus’ service as President-Elect is a testament to her commitment to advancing the field of plastic surgery in the region. In the new role, she plans to focus on advancing the society’s mission to promote excellence in plastic surgery through education and advocacy. “One of my primary goals is to enhance the professional development opportunities available to our members,” she stated. “By investing in our own education and skill development, we can stay abreast of trends and techniques to provide even better care for our patients.”
