Lausanne, Switzerland--(Newsfile Corp. - April 11, 2025) - The Resilience Institute has launched a global initiative to provide certified coaches with complementary access to its science-based Resilience Assessment (valued at $50 USD). This new initiative aims to support the well-being of coaches and contribute to the upcoming 2025 Global Coach Well-Being Report.
The initiative comes at a time when the demands on coaches are growing. As the world navigates economic shifts, evolving workplace dynamics, and widespread uncertainty, coaches play a vital role in helping individuals and organizations adapt, grow, and thrive.
"Coaches are being called upon more than ever to guide others through stress, transformation, and high performance. Yet many coaches are managing these pressures without the tools or systems to safeguard their own well-being," said Bradley Hook, Partner at the Resilience Institute. "This initiative is about giving coaches the same support they so often provide to others."
What the Research Shows
Recent studies point to an increasing need to support the people who support others:
- The 2023 ICF Global Coaching Study highlighted a sharp rise in complexity across coaching engagements and growing expectations placed on coaches.
- The 2021 EMCC UK Mental Health in Coaching Report identified rising levels of emotional fatigue and mental health concerns within the coaching profession.
- Coaches, like therapists and other helping professionals, are vulnerable to burnout due to emotional labor, isolation, and unpredictable business demands.
While coaches teach resilience, many don't regularly measure or reflect on their own.
What the Resilience Assessment Offers
Used in over 60 countries, the Resilience Assessment is a ten-minute diagnostic tool that provides:
- A personalized profile across 50 validated factors
- Insights into physical, emotional, cognitive, and social fitness
- A visual dashboard scoring vitality, bounce, focus, and connection
- Practical tips to improve well-being and performance
The tool is based on over two decades of research across neuroscience, positive psychology, and behavioral science. It has been refined through use in thousands of organizations and with tens of thousands of individuals.
Contributing to a Global Benchmark
All participating coaches will contribute anonymized data toward the 2025 Global Coach Well-Being Report-the first large-scale snapshot of coach resilience and well-being. This report will identify key patterns, challenges, and opportunities to better support coaches in a rapidly changing world.
"This initiative isn't just about access to tools-it's about building clarity and care into the coaching profession," said Hook.
The report will be shared with professional coaching networks, training institutions, and organizations seeking to improve the sustainability of their coaching programs.
