With this updated course from the Dermysk Medical Aesthetics Academy, new students with no previous experience, qualifications, or training, can become fully certified in IPL hair removal and up to a dozen other MedSpa techniques in as little as 8 weeks.

This new training option uses several improved techniques to help students complete their schooling from anywhere with an internet connection, with only one week of in-class training required. Each course begins with online training to provide students with a background for the MedSpa industry, and an understanding of the science and biology behind each procedure.
While the majority of the course can be completed online, including 7 training modules that can be completed at each student’s own pace, every student will also be required to complete hands-on training at a Dermysk Academy. This hands-on approach ensures that every student has real-world experience with the full range of MedSpa techniques, and the confidence to work on their own.
In the Basic training, students will earn their certifications for up to a dozen of the most popular techniques, such as micro-blading, dermaplaning, professional acne treatments, and laser hair or tattoo removal. This certification allows any graduate to immediately begin work in a local MedSpa, or to provide these services from their own homes.
Graduates are also encouraged to return to the Academy at any point for additional training, using the Advanced Aesthetics course. This class follows a similar online and hands-on training approach but covers complex techniques not available in many clinics, such as Body Sculpting, stem cell treatments, and laser gynecology.
Alternatively, new students may choose to enroll in the Dermysk Academy’s all-in-one intensive training course, the Master-level class. This course includes everything taught in both the Basic and Advanced courses, plus additional training not found elsewhere, all in a single course.
This Master-level course has no prerequisites, but the Dermysk Academy reserves the right to limit this course to certain, highly dedicated students.
