Paradigm, a specialty care management organization focused on delivering solutions that improve outcomes for individuals with complex injuries and diagnoses, today announced several leadership updates designed to strengthen organizational alignment and support the company’s continued growth and Customer Excellence strategy.
Kathy Galia Promoted to President, Workers’ Compensation Solutions
Paradigm announced the promotion of Kathy Galia, previously Chief Clinical Solutions Officer, to President of Workers’ Compensation Solutions. In this role, Galia will lead the company’s Workers’ Compensation business, with responsibility for all Workers’ Compensation products excluding Payment Integrity.
Throughout her time at Paradigm, Galia has been a trusted leader and partner, known for her deep commitment to the business, to her teams, and to the clients and patients Paradigm serves. She has played an integral role in shaping and advancing the Workers’ Compensation platform, helping strengthen execution, collaboration, and outcomes across the organization. Her promotion reflects both the impact of her contributions to date and the confidence Paradigm’s leadership has in her continued leadership.
“Kathy has made a meaningful impact on Paradigm and the evolution of our Workers’ Compensation business,” said John S. Watts, Jr., CEO of Paradigm. “She is a strong, trusted leader with a deep understanding of our platform and our clients’ needs. Her promotion underscores her accomplishments and our confidence in her ability to guide the business forward. Aligning all of Paradigm’s patient-facing products and operations under one leader positions us to better support our customers and partners as we continue to grow.”
Tom Mastri Expands Scope Across Payment Integrity and Network Operations
As part of these organizational changes, Tom Mastri will become EVP, Finance & Chief Operating Officer, with expanded responsibility for Paradigm’s Payment Integrity solutions, Network Development, and Provider Operations. Mastri has served as Paradigm’s EVP of Finance and Business Development & CFO since 2012 and brings extensive experience across provider networks and payments, informed by both his time at Coventry and his long tenure at Paradigm.
“Tom brings deep expertise in networks, payments, and financial operations, along with a long track record of execution at Paradigm,” said Watts. “His experience and judgment make him exceptionally well suited to lead these capabilities as they continue to evolve in support of our clients.”
Chris Pricco to Depart Paradigm
Paradigm also announced that Chris Pricco will be departing the company to pursue a CEO opportunity in the group health sector. Pricco has been a valued member of Paradigm’s leadership team and has made significant contributions to the company’s specialty networks, home health and payment integrity capabilities during his tenure.
“Chris has played an important role in building and growing Paradigm’s Specialty Networks business, strengthening key partner relationships, and developing a dedicated, high-performing team,” said Watts. “We are grateful for his leadership and partnership, and we wish him continued success as he takes on this next opportunity.”
