Harbor Commodity All-Weather Strategy ETF (Ticker: HGER), Subadvised by Quantix Commodities, Surpasses $2 Billion in Assets

Harbor Capital Advisors, Inc. ("Harbor"), the asset manager that curates a select suite of predominantly actively managed ETFs, mutual funds, and collective investment trusts, announced that the Harbor Commodity All-Weather Strategy ETF (Ticker: HGER) has passed the $2 billion mark in assets.

“HGER, which achieved the milestone shortly after reaching its 4-year anniversary, is designed to provide a more effective way of gaining commodities exposure,” said Kristof Gleich, President and CIO at Harbor Capital Advisors.

“We have been advocating that advisors consider a 10%+ allocation to commodities, specifically the Harbor Commodity All-Weather Strategy ETF,” he said. “For decades, allocators sought to do the right thing for clients by adding commodity exposure, yet traditional commodity indices delivered disappointing results. We believe these traditional commodity indices were built to serve commodity producers—not investor portfolios.

“According to our research as of February 2026, we have seen stock-bond correlations shift into positive territory, turning bonds from a portfolio ballast into a potential source of correlated risk. In this environment, we believe thoughtful commodity exposure matters more than ever. Commodities may no longer be just a side dish—they could merit a more central role in portfolios given the current market regime. In a world of persistent inflation forces and tighter inventories, being bold with commodity exposure may be more tactical than structural,” Gleich said.

Gleich continued, “A little over a year ago, we partnered with Quantix Commodities with a simple but bold goal: Become the new benchmark for commodities investing and lead the space. While we still have much work ahead, I’d say more advisors and investors are seeing the compelling reasons why we believe a significant allocation to HGER makes sense.”
