Artists Can Publish and Share Their 3D Creations Directly from Open Brush to VIVERSE for Free

VIVERSE, the web content platform from HTC, today announced the inaugural “VIVERSE x Open Brush Art Jam 2026”, an immersive artwork competition for global recognition and cash prizes. Participants will create 3D artwork in the Open Brush app around the theme of “what makes you feel at home,” then publish their art directly to VIVERSE to enter the competition and let their creative visions shine.

Open Brush lets artists bring their unique visions to life on a virtual 3D canvas, using a VR headset and controllers as their paintbrush. Because immersive artwork from Open Brush can now be published directly to VIVERSE.com for free, anyone with an internet connection can explore it on their smartphone, tablet, or computer – without needing a VR headset of their own.

Submissions will be judged on three criteria: Concept, Craft, and Optimization. The competition will have four awards in total: a first prize of $2,500, a second prize of $1,500, a third prize of $1,000, and a special “most viewed” award of $2,500.
